Merry Melodies- Liana Jaden

Welcome to a new series on my official blog titled “Merry Melodies”! “Merry Melodies” started as a special episodic series on my popular “Laugh About It with Sade Champagne” radio show and multimedia platforms where I highlight dynamic musical artists I am enjoying and want to share with you.

This week we are featuring the lovely, talented and pitch perfect Liana Jaden! Liana Jaden is a Ventura County based multifaceted musician and songwriter with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Arts Performance from CSU Northridge and a Master’s in Music Industry Administration. I first connected with Liana at the beginning of this year when she reached out to be a performer at my first “Rising From the Ashes Benefit Concert” to support people who had been affected by the LA fires. Her enthusiasm, giving heart and willingness is admirable. I listened to her music and knew she would be a perfect fit for the event.

After seeing her perform live at 2 of my benefit concerts now, I first have to say that Liana is a pure pleasure to work with! Her pitch is crystal clear and she is a beautiful songwriter. Liana reminds me of Lilith Fair and many of the great pop, folk-pop and alternative solo female artists I loved listening to growing up.

There is an honesty in her voice and lyrics that pierces into your heart. Liana Jaden is an old soul who paints exquisite pictures with her music! I have been listening to her songs on repeat, and she has actually inspired my songwriting. If this is where Liana is today vocally, lyrically and creatively- we can only imagine the depths, widths and heights she’ll grow to in the future! We had such a fun and musical time on and off air, and I enjoyed learning more about Liana, her influences, her journey and she has a great sense of humor!

I would like to see Liana Jaden continue to excel in her music, creativity and dreams. Did I mention that she is a videographer, director and does many other artistic things? I hope that she continues to fuse all her gifts and passions together in whatever she does.
