Merry Melodies- Tea Elani

Welcome to a new series on my official blog titled “Merry Melodies”! “Merry Melodies” started as a special episodic series on my popular “Laugh About It with Sade Champagne” radio show and multimedia platforms where I highlight dynamic musical artists I am enjoying and want to share with you.

This week we are featuring the beautiful, hard working and creative Tea Elani! Tea Elani is a Samoan/Black pop artist and songwriter. Téa Elani also has experience in writing, film, directing, and musical theater. In addition to her music releases, Téa Elani was also featured in the Amazon Prime series, Reckless Behavior, and served as a social media ambassador for the fashion brand, Good American. We met several years ago at I believe a county fair where we were both performing, and we’ve continued to stay in touch and support one another since. Here is a photo of us together after our performances at the 2022 Big Fresno Fair!

Téa Elani is one of the most fashionable, creative and entertaining artists I’ve ever met! Her outer beauty is simply a reflection of her inner beauty. She has 4 new singles out, follow her verified Spotify page here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/7pZIL5DyYlhQDh6AJZk7sZ Her new singles include Pirate Song (Peek A Boo) featuring Imani Embodied, Malosi, Too Nice, and If U Wanna. I enjoy how much fun she has writing and creating every song.

Téa Elani currently has four self-released EP’s; “Seasons” (2018), “Mood Board" (2019), “Movement” (2020), and "Thick" (2021) ; and two self-released albums; “Tea Elani” (2020) and “For Me/For Me Deluxe” (2021) on all streaming platforms.

There are multiple things to cherish about Tea Elani, my favorite things about her are her style, her humility, her determination, her optimistic attitude, her brilliant & daring creative mind and her belief in herself. She doesn’t allow challenges or anything to distract or stop her from her goals. She’s always trying, stretching, having a blast with her artistry and representing her cultures and passions immaculately! Audiences are always drawn to her whenever she performs! I want to see Téa Elani continue to fuse all her artistic passions together and maybe even create music/storytelling around her cultures- adding in those island and Black/African American influences. Knowing her it’s already in the works- she’s full of surprises. I’ll be featuring Téa Elani on an upcoming special episode of my “Laugh About It with Sade Champagne” radio show; stay tuned! In the meantime, peruse around her gorgeous official website here: https://www.teaelani.com/
